We are excited to open up our Westlake High School Lacrosse Spring registration. Our program is the strongest and most capable it has ever been due to the hard work and dedication of our players, families, coaches, and volunteers from past years and current. The momentum is strong this year as we place our eyes on a State Championship for both DI & DII divisions.
Thank you for being a part of the Westlake High School Lacrosse program.

WHS Practice Fields
The game schedule is fully set with team/location/time. Varsity A will have overnight travel to Houston, Dallas and one day trip to The Woodlands. The schedule will be published on the website and BAND will be updated to reflect all games and practices.
We will field a Varsity A and Varsity B/ JV team
We will practice as two groups – Varsity A and Varsity B/JV
A player may be moved up to Varsity A from Varsity B during the season
Once a player enters a Varsity A game, he must play Varsity A the remainder of the season.
Encourage your player to ask their coaches before and after practice about what they need to do for playing time. This is not a discussion between coaches and parents.
Playing time is earned at practice. It is not given.
Effort is the main factor in playing time - Age is not
The link to specific team pages will be sent following team announcements. The BAND App is the main source of communication to the players & families once the season begins.
Team messaging- this is where you will direct message your coaches
Photos, videos and live streaming
Teaching messages from coaches
Will be used for program wide announcements
We will not use email for day to day communications
All players and parents must sign up for Band to receive the most up to date information and updates
If your son is going to miss practice, he must be the one to communicate with his head coach the reason for missing via direct message on BAND.
The player should not tell an assistant coach or another player to pass on the message.
Academic Tutoring - If your player has a 2.0, he should be going to after school tutoring or finding another method of support.
Doctors visit for injury
If your family is going through a situation that may be effecting your son negatively, please let the head coach of the team know of the situation. We are here to play lacrosse, but we are also here to create and build up our boys and our community.
